The location is fantastic: on a canal and on a quiet street just 5 minutes from lots of shopping, action and transportation. Loved the bath, the wonderful coffee in the morning, the breakfasts, the friendly very helpful staff and the great gin & tonics (only the Dutch know how).

We loved our stay at The Toren and truly can’t think of anything they could have done differently - our stay was perfect, the staff incredibly warm and professional! We would love to stay at The Toren again when we are in Amsterdam!

Room Tip: The room was small and cozy but that was our choice. They were incredibly accommodating

From the moment we walked into this hotel we were amazed! Their staff is beyond helpful and amazing! We were a family of five with two bags each and they took care of our luggage no problem! They walked us to our beautiful room and made sure we had everything we needed. Our bedroom was breathtakingly beautiful! The beds were so comfortable!
This is the fourth time I’ve been to Amsterdam and I will never go to another hotel. This is the best experience I have had in this amazing city!
Highly recommended!

We found The Toren on Trip Advisor, and it surpassed our expectations by a mile! This 400 year old converted building is a fantastic space. The bar, the sitting/breakfast area make you feel like your in your very rich friends home. Then comes the Toren team, which are just wonderful. Friendly and attentive without being overbearing. From making you breakfast to a afternoon cocktail they are great. Lets not forget the room, well appointed, very large bath and shower area by any standard (room 117), comfortable bed with sitting area spotlessly clean. Yes it is Europe and the rooms are narrower than in the USA but it does not matter.
Best i can say is we will stay here next trip...worth every penny ..euro.

For me this is the best possible location, in the prettiest streets in Amsterdam. A short walk from all the attractions, and a mere hop skip and jump to some, with all the lovely bars and restaurants of the Jordaan right on your doorstep.

We are a family with a four-year-old son. The hotel is very quirky and in keeping with the area but a little more grown up than we would normally hope for for our son so we were a little worried that we might be disturbing other guests. That said, before our stay the hotel staff were extremely helpful, ensuring we had all we needed to accommodate the three of us. I would definitely recommend it for a more grown up family or definitely singles or couples.

Ideally you wouldn’t drive into the centre of town, but having brought our car over on the ferry this was necessary for us. We used the valet parking option which is cheaper than parking your car outside the hotel and they were very flexible to bring the car back precisely when we needed it so I would definitely recommend this.

Room Tip: Listen to the advice of the hotel for the best room to select for yours and your families needs.
