“Lovely B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

This is a very small B&B, only one room located at the basement. In a way it is good because you have the whole place for yourself. It was a special experience for me to stay at basement room, with a tiny window that you cant open. There is heater in the room but i didn't notice there is an air-cond. So i'm not sure if it is comfortable during summer time.
The location is great, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The tram station is just around the cornor. The ownsers are very friendly.
The owner just leaf you alone after you had settled down. This was exactly what we wanted. He took the efford to get me a hair dryer. Both of them showed up to say goodbyw when we checked out, even tho it was 7.30am.
I like the complimentary minibar, there were beers, soft drinks, cova, choclates, cakes and other snacks. They are very generous!!!
The only downside was the WIFI connection was not stable. Especially at night, we couldn't get any connection.
Small tip: The Wok to Walk just outside the main road is very good. The food is good and relatively cheap compare to other fastfood.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

My wife and I traveled to visit friends and relatives in the Netherlands. We were arriving over Queens Day weekend and fortunately found LaFarrah. It was a wonderful bed and breakfast. Located in Kerkstraat, normally a small street between Prinzengracht and Kaisergracht, It took on its own life during this Holiday weekend. Very convenient off Leidenstraat, it had all kinds of great restaurants-the SNEEKER PAN(Dutch-serves breakfast) along with Thai (Thai Corner), MexMex, and Portugeese -nearby. Also shops, bike rentals and even a laundry within 500ft.
The apartment had a fantastic bed and private bath along with drinks and snacks in a fridge, coffee, tea and guide books. Renee and Stefano were great hosts! Thanks!!!!
