“THE BEST LUNCH IN AMSTERDAM!”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

in three days of holidays, we luched at lombardo's 2 times! pretty small but very nice, it has very delicious sandwiches and burgers! the best combo for us was to bring a burger there and go sitting along the channel ;) absolutely every person who enter at lombardo's have to try the fabulous "pork-a-licious"!!

“Amazing food, good prices, lovely staff.”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

I had a pulled pork sandwich on the first day, and then salmon and avocado the next. If they were open in the evening I am sure this would have made it to an evening meal too! The burgers looked AMAZING when other people ordered them! The portions are big, the prices are good, the fillings are fresh. Delicious - you must go!

“Amazing Burgers and Sandwiches”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

Has to be the best bread I've had in Amsterdam! We both loved our sandwiches and will certainly be going back. A warning though, it's basically a takeout counter with only one small area to sit (for about 6 people), so be prepared to take your food to go. Benches on the street provide a great place to eat if the weather is nice. They are also not licensed for consumption of alcohol on premises, so we had to stand on the street and drink our beers while waiting for our sandwiches, which was quite pleasant in the warm summer weather, but not so much on a rainy day.

“My kids thought the burgers were great!”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

As I don't eat meat, I cannot personally comment on the burgers. My family thought they were fantastic, probably the best they've had in Amsterdam so I must trust their taste.

I had the roasted veggie and goat cheese sandwich. It was good, but nothing astonishing.

Be prepared to wait and take your food to go as there are only six stools available to eat in.

My kids said they'd definitely return for another round.

By the way, the first time we went, we were rejected at the door as they had run out of meat that day so plan well. Also, I believe they close at either 5 or 6 p.m., do plan more for lunch than for dinner.
