We were orginally booked in JL No76's sister hotel Hotel Vondel but due to there being a spare room they asked if we wanted to try it out as it was new. We stayed in the an Executive Room which was great. It had a giant king bed, plasma tv, jucuzzi bath with its own tv at the foot of the bath and a nespresso machine. The breakfast that was included was great, it had the old favourite of bacon and eggs and cereal as well as the more european ham and cheeses. Good location and close to a few trams into the centre of Amsterdam.

We arrived midweek for a three night stay. The hotel is indeed a perfect 'boutique' hotel. The soft furnishings are very glam and every communal area is imaculate.
Our room wasn't huge but just perfect for the two of us.
We had an incredible jucuzzi bath, a nespresso machine, two tvs (good channel choice) and the most comfortable HUGE bed with wonderful pillows!
The staff couldn't have been more wonderful..from hiring bikes, to booking restaurants and giving the best 'off the beaten track' info about the city.

All in all a wonderful stay, would recommend.

This hotel is set behind the a high end shopping district and is surrounded by museums, arty eateries and easy tram access. The hotel is easy to get to from Schipol using the 197 bus that takes you to the front door (50yrs away) in 15mins
The rooms are well designed with comfy beds, large tv and modern bathrooms including a bath tv and a nespresso coffee machine!
I didn't eat at the hotel but made use of the honesty bar that was priced slightly different to the form you fill in. I also hired bikes from the hotel to explore the best of Amsterdam and would recommend this to other guests, the bikes are very good, well maintained and are at a very comparable price to other rentals.

The location is unbeatable on a beautiful treelined quiet street. Two minutes walk to the Van Gogh and Rijks galleries.
My room was very comfortable. Nespresso machine, tv over the bath, etc
The hotel is small and there are very few staff so if you wished to be greeted every few minututes by liveried staff this is not the place for you. The hotel seems to have been converted from two 19th century apartment blocks but it retains old world charm.
Do rent a bike either from the hotel or from Mike's Bike's.

Room tip: avoid the attic or basement rooms.
