This restaurant, in De Pijp, has managed to keep it's Mediterranean food up to the high standard it started out with.
Great fish (gilled on wood), entrées, side-dishes and great wines. All topped off with the hospitality we associate with the Mediterranean.
As a person who lives and breath Greece, this Turkish restaurant is the place I go to when I am working and living in Amsterdam. It's more home to me than the Greek restaurants around here.
Highly recommended is the grilled sea bass! As are the Adana Kebap and Imam Bayildi.
But most of the time I just order a selection of the delicious starters. Served with bread and some great housewines or a nice Turkish Efes beer.
Finish this feast with Orontes (Greek yoghurt with honey and honing en walnuts) and you are already longing for the next visit.
