We spent a Saturday night in this nice, but not cozy hotel in Amsterdam... the rooms are large, clean and comfortable, well fitted bathrooms. The The colors used are a bit dull and does not give a homy feeling... The room smelled very much to an unpleasant cleaning product, which was disturbing...We paid the expensive rate as there were different activities in the city, enabling the hotels to overcharge..
The location is off center in a high end quiet neighborhood. The center is within easy reach 5 minutes by tramway or 10 minutes by bicycle... For business stays the hotel is perfect, but for a romantic weekend in the city there are better options....

Room Tip: take a room "at the back" these are quiet

The Bilderberg Garden Hotel has all the best Amsterdam can offer. Comfortable rooms, very professional and friendly staff, fast internet, nice meeting rooms and someone that is always ready to assist, answer a question or simply give you a smile. Highly recommendable! Also the food is very good.

Room Tip: stay in the executive floor - not much more expensive but loads of benefits

Very nice hotel, good location just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, so nice and quiet. Trams run very regular into city. Only thing that I felt was expensive was car parking at the hotel, and breakfast. But had a pleasant stay and nice break.

There are some great deals to be had on this hotel, it is ina great location, 15 minutes from Dam square via the number 5 tram.

Unfortunatley the "great prices" online are false, they will charge you at every corner, 9E a day for wireless!

There is no in hotel pool, spa, gym or any kind of relaxation services, you can however use the sister hotels facilities for 25E an hour.

A booked 30E taxi somehow ends up as 40E on the bill and they seem to add breakfast to the bill at 45E a person, hoping you won't spot it.

Room Tip: No rooms have views.

This hotel is a fairly simple business hotel with several glaring issues.

Good-stuff
- Tidy neat hotel in a quiet area of town.
- Polite helpful staff, despite below.
- Quick cab service.
- Breakfast was simple but delicious, excellent coffee.
- Beds were comfortable.

Issues that need to be addressed:
- 1st floor room access is limited by having to climb a set of stairs with no ramp. So luggage hauling can be a problem.
- The card key system is terrible. Cards constantly stop working after a day or two, sometimes even after receiving staff attention.
- A very limited business center with no staff. You have to purchase a key-code before using but it runs out very quickly.
- Apples were sour.
- Housekeeping service was also fairly limited in that they did the beds and not much else. Restocking the fridge was also an issue.

Room Tip: Avoid 1st floor because cars and pedestrians can see inside your room. Also avoid 1st floor because...

We had a fabulous holiday at this hotel. The staff were all very helpful and professional. The rooms are lovely and the location is great - far enough away from the city to be in suburbia (if that's what you want), and quick and easy to get to the centre of Amsterdam. In the evenings the staff come in and put the lamps on and classical music on the TV and an apple on the bedside table - its a lovely feeling when you come back to your room after a long day out :-) Although we didn't eat the apples! My only complaint would be having to pay for wi-fi - this should be for free! However, I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a standard double room for 1 week. Slightly further from the city center than anticipated, but after hiring bikes, it was no problem at all. The room was a perfect size with all the usual mod cons, and it was lovely and clean. The apples and classical music in the evening was a lovely suprise to come back to after being on our feet all day. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here.
