“Great (and Quick) Breakfast”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

When you are a busy tourist, this is a perfect place for a warm and welcoming breakfast. The food is delicious (fresh eggs serves with ham and toast) and served quickly. Not only is the service efficient, but extremely friendly. Great coffee, lattes, and hot chocolate as well. In addition to breakfast, we also stopped for late night coffee and croissants. The perfect place to start or end a busy day, and a great location near Central Station and the RLD.

“Best and biggest breakfast”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Very cute tiny place close to the Centraal Station. Just two tables and and two bar stools. Very welcoming and humorous bartender.
What everyone definitely will like is the size of the servings: little bucket of cappuccino and little basin of fried eggs, ham and toast.
If your are too early to your hotel and your are looking for a warm generous breakfast - it is the place

“good wholesome dutch food”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

Had a 3 course dutch meal in this restaurant on a saturday night in the middle of a snowstorm in january .we were staying at barbizon palace next door ,so it was first place out of the snow ! I had been in before last year but only for soup and a sandwich ,so we were not too sure about an evening meal . The waiter advised us to try the 3 course meal for 18 euros and pretty good it was . First course dutch pea soup ,speaks for itself ,served with crusty bread with bacon for dipping in mmm lovely.Next the variety stampot with three different kind of potato and veg combos served with either meatball or sausages ,very nice .And ti finish home made dutch ice cream with an advocaat sauce ( it actually tasted like a creme egg mcflurry ) very good . price for that with drinks for 2 was 40 euros so pretty reasonable .only downside was waiting for ages to be served despite the fact there were only 6 people in the place ,but all in all pretty good ,especially the dutch pea soup probably better for a lunch than an evening meal but did the trick .
