On our last night in Amsterdam we had a yen for Italian food. After looking through a few trip advisor reviews we picked Savini, which was only a few blocks from the B&B we were staying at. It was a good choice. Although it wasn't full there were a good many diners, so that was a good sign. Service is friendly and prompt. We were served complimentary bruschetta, and the house wine was very good. We had a bowl of the minestrone, which was a bit different than we were use to, it was a lighter vegetable soup, and very good. My wife had the pasta fra diavolo which she loved, and I had the pasta with clams in white wine sauce, which I did enjoy. Savini is a good choice if your craving Italian food in Amsterdam.
