We found this restaurant by chance on our first evening in Amsterdam - a sunny Saturday evening when everywhere seemed to be booked. We secured one of just two free tables and soon realised that everyone else eating was local - including a large group we assume celebrating a birthday. The "host" is a delightfully camp Thai, in traditional dress, who made us feel really welcome, laughing and joking whilst making sure service was just right. Tired after a long day we opted for the €29.95 set menu. The soup was amazing, as was the beef dish and all the rest very good (miles too much rice but that's probably us as other diners seemed to manage a bowl each!). We would definitely recommend.
