Dining options: Dinner, Reservations, Seating, Serves Alcohol, Waitstaff
Neighborhood: Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)
Description: The restaurant and it’s kitchen are opened Tuesday through Saturday from 18h00 and other options can be discussed more closely. In the heart of the Nine Streets area, on one of the prettiest spots along the Keizersgracht, you will find restaurant BIHP. In our restaurant, which is modern and stylish, but at the same time cosy and intimate, you can enjoy a lovely meal and a splendid glass of wine. The art on the wall, which is made by the owner Bilal Chahal, gives the restaurant a cosmopolitan feel. You are welcome in small as well as larger numbers and it is even possible to book the restaurant as a whole. Especially for people with engagements later in the evening, restaurant BIHP offers a theatre menu from 18h00 until 20h00. If you like art, atmosphere, good, honest food and excellent wines, restaurant BIHP is the spot for you

Decent food (tho nothing outstanding), tad slow service, nice view. Their "We do not have tap water" means I will not come back here. Absolutely ridiculous (and unfortunately not unique in Amsterdam).

A charming, space-challenged restaurant in a narrow building on one of the canals. Great to blow into on a blustery night in Amsterdam, which we did.

The owners/servers are very nice and attentive. One of them showcases his paintings on the walls. I had the goat cheese terrine, which had just enough heat added to the cheese to make it interesting, although I found the scone a little dry. The biological breads came with 3 different toppings, including garlic with shaved almonds. My sea bass (on a tiny bed of egg noodles) was fresh and tender. All with a couple of glasses of the Terza 2009 Chardonnay/Viognier - enjoyable.

Restaurant has tables in the front of the restaurant as well as a 3-4 high top tables toward the back of the kitchen. There is also enough seating for 4-5 at the bar.

Wear layers if you go in the winter, the place literally heats up quite a bit. Also, when busy it can be a loud.
