“Nice little tapas place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

This place is small, crowded, overdecorated... Very cosy, warm and welcoming! The tapas are perfectly decent, the wine is good, the staff is friendly but absolutely spanishly overabsorbed into what they are doing, so you really have to use a few spanish words or be willing to gesticulate a lot to attract their attention to get that bacalao! But it is worth it and I will come back soon!

“don't eat here”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

Tried to book a few times with a special deal, however service is an unknown word. Whomever I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and did not want to help at all. I will take my loss and not go here ever and with this and other reviews you may have read, prevent you from having the same rude experience.

“Real spanish food and atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

I love this place! It is like being in Sevilla. You have to remember it is a bar, not a restaurant so you best stay at the bar and order your tapas and drinks right there. (come with a group of friends and just hang out for the best vibe!) If you throw in some Spanish lingo (3 words is enough) staff appreciates it so much they will look after you very well and they let you taste all kinds of stuff. It all tastes authentic and you can feast your eyes on the tapas before choosing, so you know it will be nice and fresh! Of course go for the sherry and Cruzacampo beer. The best thing is: on weekends there is live music, spontanious singing, Spanish guitar (played by the cook no less!) and if you know a thing or two about Flamenco: go on, clap your hands and dance!
You can stay here 'till late and have a nice Andalusian evening, lovely!

“Don't waste your time”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

The place is a the size of a closet. There are only three tiny tables in a small alcove at the back. I noticed that one table meant only for three had five people camped around it. The other two tables had a 'reserved' sign on them. Having no reservations, our only option was to sit at the bar which had two separate displays of tapas in glass cases on either end. To eat at the bar meant sitting elbow to elbow with the next person.
With three of us knocking knees and elbows at one end of the bar, I locked eyes with the lone waitress/bartender and asked for the menu. She didn't even smile or acknowledge me in any way --- she simply walked away. A minute later she came back and told me there was no menu, despite the fact their web site showed one, and said the only food available are the ones already displayed in the bar. I asked if the ones displayed in front of us were the same as those on the other end. She said no. Since we couldn't really see what's at the other end, we would actually have to stand up and walk over to take a look.

We decided to just walk out.

If you're in the mood to be ignored and inconvenienced, then this is the place for you. If you're looking for a relaxed place with good food, there are definitely better options elsewhere.
