We were there July 8th. So early in the summer. The European kids have not gone onto summer break yet. I thought there was a good size crowd at the museum but not bad at all. Someone at the museum said that it was really light and it gets much more crowded later in the summer. So i can understand that people don't appreciate the big crowds. My advice... google when the big crowds are there and avoid those times. For us... it was great.

There's sooooo much for the kids to do. I had to drag them out of there. They could have just spent the day in the section that explains how rain is formed. There is a flow to the place and it moves well.

The cafe on the roof is great and very fresh / healthy stuff or the usual kids’ stuff too. All the dishes and forks are recyclable, and the place is very conscious of that.

It's not easy to get to but by no means tough. we took a cab. it's a must see if you have kids.

Lots of great stuff for kids but bit boring and expensive for adults. Great for families on a rainy day

Had really high hopes as all the reviews were great but we found this really disappointing. Expensive and over crowded and awkward to get too as well. Wish we had saved our money and went elsewhere.

Really exciting for all ages, a must visit when in Amsterdam. Both kids 5 & 8 years enjoyed their time and even wanted to spend more time, tip: plan for minimum 3 hours to check everything. It’s 5 floors with different science stuff and highly recommend doing an experiment in the lab. Also the staff was very helpful.

We took a trip to the Nemo as a last minute thing and was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was.... If you have kids this is the place to be... Lots of interactive things to do... All very informative but lots of fun... Whole section taken up by a science lab and the kids could go in and do experiments.. all free... We went free as part of the Iamsterdam card. Beautiful building good café at the top with excellent views.
