“Canals in Amsterdam are so pretty!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2014

Could get lost wandering around this place, as we did, but it's actually a nice way to see the city. This area is full of history and Dutch culture. We came here to go to The Pancake Bakery (as Miley Cyrus has visited) and to go to Anne Frank's House (which also provides free wi-fi outside it). The was also a big tower museum but we didn't go into it. It's nice to walk along the canal and watch the boats go by, but watch you don't get hit by the bikes, especially when crossing the bridges. Was really cool to see the Houseboats, as I had looked into these as accommodation before but couldn't afford.

“Amsterdam architecture is so pretty.”

I loved to be there. It is a nice place to walk anytime. It is a great entertainment, just to walk around and observe the locals.

“Walk as much as you can”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2014

The walk along the canals is relaxing and fun. See all the boats, especially tour boats, maneuvering between the canals and locks. Walk on the bridges and see that boaters from above. Stop by a cafe and enjoy the scenes. Waht a better way to soak the Amesterdam atmosphere that this?!

“Houseboats”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2014

The water channel with the most beautiful houseboats. While walking through the channel, cross the bridges and appreciate the little details like the inclined houses that seem they're going to fall anytime... ;)
Anne Frank's house is in Prinsengracht so just walk (or ride on a bike) along the channel towards the house. It's worth it.
