“Perfect Place To View King's Day Boat Parade”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

Not only is Prinsengracht canal a lovely area to walk it is also one of the best places to watch the "boat parade" on King's day. There were many vendors selling food, music, and lots of fun for all!

“The best stroll”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

Off the most touristy track, still lively. Many individual small shops of all kind. Lots of places for a snack or a beer.

“perfect place to stroll and loose yourself!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014 via mobile

We arrived in Amsterdam this morning and spent a few hours walking around the streets. We loved walking around this area, checking out the buildings and canals.

If you're looking for a place to unwind which doesn't cost you anything - look no further. I believe you can also grab some of the boats for a tour here as well.

“Beautiful Canal that shows the life of the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

This Canal street was a part of our daily walk while visiting Amsterdam. It is so beautiful and peaceful, with lots of homes, shops, pubs and resturants right along its banks. So many parts of the city are connected to this canal street that it is a perfect way to experience the city. People watching is great along the many pubs on this street, you can check out the Anne Frank Huis and walk to the Jordaan and down to the Nine Streets as well. Also you can catch a canal ride along the canal as well. Great starting and stopping point, don't miss it.
