Owner description: In the heart of Amsterdam's bustling centre lies one of the city's oldest museums: Museum Our Lord in the Attic. Here visitors get to experience the Dutch Golden Age in a special way: a 17th-century house with a top floor converted into a Catholic church.

This is a fascinating insight into what it would be like to worship when your religion is banned. A bit confusing at times try and figure out the layout with the 3 houses, but go with it. Fascinating history.

Look out for the sign protruding from the building, it's not immediately obvious it's a museum, but that's kind of fitting.

From the outside you would never in a million years imagine that there lies a triple volume Catholic Church. It's a lovely, quaint museum away from the bustle and crowed tourist sights! It is really worth a look and the audio guide give you a lot of insight to how the people would have lived in the olden days.

Interesting place, worth a visit. Not easy to find. Lots of tight and steep stairs to climb.

Free lockers are available for your stuff. Look for the flag out front with the museum name on it.

Fascinating "hidden" church which was constructed inside three townhouses. Now in process of final renovation. Audio tour was quite interesting. A great little find.

It is a must if you go to Amsterdam. A church in a building so small that is divided in four stories. You must go!
