Owner description: In the heart of Amsterdam's bustling centre lies one of the city's oldest museums: Museum Our Lord in the Attic. Here visitors get to experience the Dutch Golden Age in a special way: a 17th-century house with a top floor converted into a Catholic church.

“A surprise in the attic”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

My wife and I had found information on this sight on the net, just before our recent visit to Amsterdam. I most say that fullfilled all my expectations and more. It is a strange fealing to go arround in the small rooms in this house to end at to the Attic to find a church.

“cute hidden gem of a museum”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

I went there in 2011 and it's a really interesting and surprising place. The chapel itself is quite extraordinary!

“A very surprizing place.”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

The restoration is almost finished and the restorers have done a good job. It is a wonderful place to come to rest and think about religious turbulent times that Amsterdam in its history has known.

“Hidden treasure.”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

What is not to like about this beautiful hidden gem. The idea of having a full size church hidden in the top of your house is just wonderful and the restoration work they have one is just great.
