Owner description: In the heart of Amsterdam's bustling centre lies one of the city's oldest museums: Museum Our Lord in the Attic. Here visitors get to experience the Dutch Golden Age in a special way: a 17th-century house with a top floor converted into a Catholic church.

The church is unique in how it was established and how it is built.
The rest of the museum is less interesting.

The church is very well maintained restored and gives a real sense of historical Amsterdam. The audio guide was informative and added to the experience. Covered by Museumkaart.

Covered by the museumkaart, with audio-guide included. The latter is pretty comprehensive, giving you a detailed history of the church. We went late in the day and some areas of the church are pretty dark, so it may help to go during the day time.

This is quite near the top of town and creeps up on you after you've gone past a few smoking cafes and the like. The building is very interesting and well preserved and the tour is conducted in a choice of languages via a handset which you hold to your ear like a mobile phone after touching points in various rooms. Worth a look although I probably wouldn't go again.
