Owner description: Visit the hiding place where Anne Frank wrote her diary during the Second World War. From 9 AM to 3:30 PM the museum is only open to visitors with an online ticket for a particular timeslot. Tickets are made available on the website two months in advance. The Anne Frank House is a small museum with limited capacity. The demand for tickets is far greater than the number available. If you are unable to buy an online ticket, you can always from 3:30 PM until closing time visit the museum and buy a ticket at the museum entrance.

“Must See”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013

Our visit to the Anne Frank House was brilliant, it is a must see when visiting Amsterdam. The queues are really long but they are worth waiting in. I would recommend going first thing in the morning when the queues are slightly sorter. There is a cafe and a gift shop in the museum which is nice but they are both quite pricey.

“Anne Frank”

Amazing! Could have spent all day in there.. Was extremely detailed and really felt like I wanted to stay longer. Only disappointment was that there were no photos allowed, although that meant that everything was in brilliant condition! Don't go to Amsterdam and not visit it!!!

“Fascinating insight”

A bit sparse on furniture but good on history and conditions at the time, but good to get there early as there can be long queues

“Worth the visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013

The Anne Frank House is a must see for anyone visiting the city. However, the line is crazy long, like wait for hours long. We purchased our tickets in advance, walked to the side entrance and went straight in. The middle of the day is so crowded inside, that there is hardly any room to move, and the stairwells get clogged up so you are packed in windowless, tiny rooms, and it can be quite claustrophobic. The attraction itself is wonderfully presented and truly gives you a feel of what life was like for this family.
