Some of Van Gogh's best works. Some of the world's best works. Get a museum pass or bring something to do on line for 2 hours. Even with the museum pass I had to wait 40 minutes, but well worth it. I couldn't imagine not having the pass and waiting in the cold rain.

This is an excellent museum that will take you through the details of all of Van Gogh’s work and even his life. I did not have a museum pass and it was not bad at all… there was no line, I just came at around 10 a.m. and got to the window for individual entries (not the group one). If you are an art lover you really have to come here.

Keep in mind that there are 3 floors you have to go through so there are a few stairs but also there is a lift available. There are also several benches to have small breaks inside. You have to leave your backpack at the storage facility in the first floor.

Museum was very good. Would have enjoyed it more if I was an art critic or a fan of Van Gogh's paintings. Museum is in a great location and easy to get to. Enjoyed it but not as much as I did the Rijks musem.

We had very high expectations before going to the Van Gogh Museum and it did not disappoint. An impressive collection of Van Gogh's art displayed in an organized and chronological manner. The descriptions regarding the paintings gave interesting insights about the individual paintings and also humanized Van Gogh. A very moving museum experience, we highly recommend it.

Art is art!... Everyone's taste varies. If you like Van Gogh, then this museum is wonderful. If not, you can appreciate it, but it will be a bit slow and unengaging. From a presentation perspective, it would have been nice to have a brief background summary for each painting etc. Museum café had surprisingly fresh food.

Recommend getting tickets in advance for a specific entry time. This will save precious time. A ticket office is located in the square in front of Rijks Museum.
