We visited the Van Gogh Museum, currently at the Hermitage, to witness one of the most impressive art collection created by an artist. The museum exposes efficiently the evolution in Van Gogh's style, and how this was linked to major changes in his personal life. Among the paintings, you can find letters between Vincent and his brother Theo, showing personal details that allow you to have a clearer understanding of Van Gogh's mind and personal tragedy. Of course you need a couple of days to review this collection properly. A must if you are in Amsterdam.
