Nice friendly atmosphere, great cheese, knowledgeable staff. Suitable for friends, or family groups. They aren't stingy with the cheese or wine either.

I found this a very enjoyable activity - whats not to like cheese & wine. Good stress free day time activity.

perfect place to taste cheese made in the Netherlands. skip those shops in the tourist market on Singel, come over here to this shop. They offer an hour of cheese tasting, with instructions and wine pairing. At euro 15, that gives 15% discount on all purchase and with add 5 euro you can get a round-the-canal ticket, it's a 1.5 hrs ride. Most important of all, this shop supplies to high end restaurants in Europe!

Dear meawmeaw, thank you for your very good review. The combination ticket is a good deal indeed! Unfortunately there are many other cheese shops opening at the moment, many of them not aware of quality at all. We love good products, and so do the gastronomy restaurants who buy our Reypenear cheeses.
All the best in Amsterdam, Please visit us again when you have the trip to TH again.
For the mean time, you can order our cheeses from our webshop.

Kind regards,

Reypenaer Tasting room,

If you like cheese Definately do this. The staff are friendly and funny. You will learn a bit about how cheese is made and sample a variety of cow and goats cheese. Wine is also provided and opportunity to ask questions.

This was a really fun experience. I learned a lot about cheese making and most importantly got to taste some truly delicious cheeses. The wine and port were an excellent addition. I went by myself, but I would also recommend this experience to small groups, families, couples, etc. A nice respite in between museum visits.
