This street leads out of Dam Square back up toward Centraal Station and is packed with tourists and shops, cafes, and other establishments catering to them. Our family left Madame Tussauds headed up this street and encountered the masses of people just walking around this area. It is busy and can be a little crowded with some younger children so be alert with all the traffic and things going on. It is a lively place to be and should be visited when in Amsterdam to say you have been there. A little too touristy for us, but it presents an awesome picture opportunity of Centraal Station as you approach.
