“The security staff need to relax”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

I know this place has just reopened, but the way the security staff were dealing with people on the day we visited bordered on contempt. I witnessed two confrontations between visitors and staff. Every time we went from one section we had to show our entry ticket even though we had to queue at the entrance, show our ticket, then once inside show it again. They need to streamline the entry system and then perhaps the security staff will relax a little. It's a good idea to buy your ticket in advance, but you will still have to queue to get in.

Enjoyed the museum. The Rembrandt area is very crowded as to be expected. I LOVED the library, be sure to stop there.

“Great, if you can fight the crowds”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

I selected the building & architecture section of the audio guide which tells you about the museum while it takes you to the important rooms where you can stop and look.

“Great art very well presented”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

I've been to a lot of museums but this one was one of my favorites. The museum has recently been redone and the presentation of this great art collection makes viewing an enjoyable experience despite the crowds. Speaking of crowds, pre-purchase your tickets, which we did at our hotel, to speed up your entry. The lines are usually very long.

“A Great Place to See True Masterpieces”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

This is a museum that has finally figured out how to handle its great artists so that the experience is not a contact sport. By centralizing its masterpieces in one large area the traffic flow is smooth and everyone gets a chance to experience an absolutely exceptional collection. A must see for anyone who loves great art.
