This was our second stay at Bees, and to put it
like this: We will not look for alternative lodging
for our next trip to Amsterdam! This is far better than
a hotel. You have your own mini-appartment.
The room is spacious, clean and very nicely
decorated. The owners are friendly and welcoming.
Delicious breakfast. If you wish you can also use the
mini kitchen to prepare a light meal, but there are
plenty of nice restaurants nearby. In fact allmost everything
is nearby. The location is very central, an easy walk
of 10-15 minites from the railway-station.
You don't have a canal-view, but thanks to the
back-of-the-house location, it is no street noise.
You feel safe and good taken care of.

We selected to stay at Bee's B&B based on the reviews on TripAdvisor and were certainly not disappointed. Due to no one having been in the room the night before we were able to check-in on arrival around 10.00am [this would depend on whether there were people checking out] which was extremely convenient. Hans met us and took us through a very detailed explanation of where we were, where to find things around the city, etc. He also provided two passes that got us discounts on several places we visited. Both he and Brigitte are very welcoming hosts and willing to make your stay in Amsterdam a memorable one.

The studio is back off the street and very quiet, in a great location, very central in the old canal district of Jordaan. The studio itself is small but very well and tastefully appointed, with a tiny kitchenette and a reasonable sized bathroom. Breakfast is provided each morning and is more than adequate [we actually asked Hans to reduce the size in order to avoid waste - we just couldn't eat everything]. The studio also has a folder with recommendations from both your hosts as well as prior visitors, many pamphlets and brochures and a number of guide books and other information.

Whilst in Amsterdam the weather was unseasonably cold and it was a pleasure to return to our cosy room [which has in-floor heating] throughout the day to warm up and relax. We would happily recommend Bee's B&B to other travelers.

Room Tip: There is only the one room so you can't really go wrong!

What a great little apartment. We loved the location and the quiet. Hans set out a breakfast at an agreed time and we liked the low key way we could grab it and take it into our room. Hans’ breakfast included incredible fresh squeezed orange juice, several fresh breads, cheese, deli meat and a beautiful fruit salad. He would do boiled eggs if you wanted and there was yogurt & cereal, jam and chocolate sprinkles in the room plus of course everything you need for tea and coffee, dishes etc.
The room is stocked with a hair dryer, power adapter, Amsterdam guide books and two discount cards. Check out Bike City nearby for rental bikes, the pizza place right next door was also very good. Additional suggestions for Amsterdam are to check out the museum card which is primarily targeted at locals and allows unlimited reentry into almost all the museums and to make a reservation ahead of time for the Anne Frank museum.
Finally, not only was Bees perfect, but it's a far nicer and much cheaper than nearby hotels.

My friend and I just came back from Amsterdam a few days ago. We really enjoyed our stay in Bee B&B. Hans and Brigitte gave us a warm welcome and prepared everything a tourist might need, including a city map, a discount card, lots of yummy local foods, and a cozy room right in the city centrum. We would definitely recommend Bees B&B to everyone that plans to visit Amsterdam.
