Dined here on a rainy lunch-time in Amsterdam. The service was pretty good, and we were looked after. Steaks were well-cooked and the meat seemed to be good quality, though the price did seem a little higher than the food warranted.
The decor however was tired, and the cow-hides hung up on the walls did not add anything to the experience. The manager, a nice chap from Belgium, chatted with us for a while, but I sensed a look of resignation at how quiet his restaurant was on a Saturday lunchtime.
The atmosphere and music let this place down and detracted from the experience, but the food was really good, and deserves credit.
