Description: Buffet van Odette is located on a nice and light spot right on the canal. We are open from 10 in the mornig for breakfast, lunch and diner. We use mainly authentic, organic and local product in our kitchen. Our Bocca-coffee is delicious and Direct Trade (even better than Fair Trade)!

After 5 years re-visiting Buffet van Odette at the new location. The old location was really nice, good food and service. We visited this morning and really disappointing: slow service, only few guests but staff quite arrogant and very busy with themselves, food was so-so (omelette at home is better and far more cheaper), wifi didn't work (they said they would fix it but never happened). For 4 people coffee+ breakfast for EUR 60 is a lot and next time would love to spend it at a better place...Dear Odette..have you lost your charming during your moving...!?

Got stuck here because of heavy rain. Nice people, good service which is quite exceptional in Amsterdam. Good food, interesting menu and wines. Everything biological. If it doesn't rain you can sit outside on the small but cosy terrace with a view on the Prinsengracht.

This is no longer Café Van Odette and hasnt been named that for over two years now! However as "Too's & Roo's" it is a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the "9 little streets". The food is very nice too!

Was the first for breakfast when they opened at 10am; ordered straight away bot it took 30 minutes for toasted raisin bread and scrambled eggs. More expensive than a lot of other places which are better.

How long does it take to fill a cup with soup and plate a meatloaf? Does 45 minutes sound reasonable. Apparently, the Dutch are in no hurry at lunch. They expect to wait patiently for their food to arrive. Although our meal was tasty, the long wait took off the edge. If you have the time and are not starving, it's a wonderful place for lunch.
