Beautiful hotel, beautiful area surrounded by canals and a street full of a lovely selection of different restaurants lots of choice and a couple of shops, pleasant area ,nice walks, . Location bit to far out from city centre. Food in hotel really beautiful but very expensive. There is an early bird dinner menu but its just a choice of eel, scallops and something else like that, room lovely and clean and comfortable , airconditioning very warm even when you lower it very humid . Staff at reception wanted a deposit from us which we all refused (we traveled with a group) and they didnt know we were coming (partly organsier of groups fault though) - and we had already fully paid . We stayed on the first floor - very noisy at night, lots of noise . Staff really nice. Nice area, but to far out from city. But would return again.
