I keep bringing friends here because it is a nice change from the hotel scene inside the canal belt. There is an open kitchen with skilled cooks. The waiting staff is personable and attentive. The menu is creative and the dishes are beautifully served. My friend had excellent blood sausage (boudin noir) from Louwman in the Jordaan. I had the home-made sausage with fennel seed. Juicy and tasty.
