We were undecided on where to eat on a Saturday evening and wanted something close to our apartment in the Jordaan area. After reading the menu at this restaurant, we decided to try it, mainly for the meat platter for 2.

The place looks a little dog-eared and at first we thought no one else was eating there but when we entered the restaurant we realised that most people were out in a cosy little courtyard in the back. It was too chilly for us, though, so we sat inside. For starters, I had the spanokopita and hubby had the feta cheese. Both were lovely and reasonably priced at €5 and €4 respectively. We then had the mixed meat platter which consisted of lamb chops, pork loin, meat balls, stewed meat, cole slaw, bean and onion salad and chips. It was all very tasty and there was plenty of food for two.

As we ate, the restaurant filled up and our server became very busy. We were not offered a dessert
menu and decided that we would head home anyway. The total for two 2-course dinners and a jug of wine was €52, which was quite reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area.

We had a wonderful Greek dinner here. The dolma and spanikopita starters were probably the best part of the meal. The entrees were good too-- moussaka and a lamb stew. All very tasty. The baklava was the only thing I wouldn't recommend, a bit soggy. The service was good and gracious. There were a couple of odd moments when the chef came out and turned people away a little abruptly, and then yelled at the very nice server. It was a busy night, and I'll give him some space for being stressed. Those couple awkward moments were the only thing that detracted from an otherwise lovely meal.

We liked this place and were disappointed to find it full when we went back for a second bite! In nice location and good varied menu, we are frequent visitors to Greece and felt the food was of a good quality at a fair price. They even had Greek music playing!

After falling for the tourist traps of the Red Light District, we were craving more wholesome food in a more relaxed atmosphere. That's when I discovered this little jewel on TripAdvisor!

As a vegetarian with specific dietary requirements and being part of a group of meat lovers, I thought of Greek, as this cuisine pleases all! We entered the restaurant at around 18:45 on a Friday, which rendered it full. The very nice waiter at first told us it was full, but then told us that within 10 minutes a table would become available. It was more like 20, but he was very kind in maintaining a queue for those who came after us seeking a table.

The wait was worth it. The tomato soup, Greek salad, Veggie moussaka, mixed grill, and calamari were all fabulous. I had the salad and the moussaka, my folks the other dishes. All of that plus a half litre of red wine, half litre of white wine, two coffees and an ouzo for only €85! The portions were so generous that we didn't have room for afters! And even though the waiter was handling every single table in the place, he did it with such aplomb! We will definitely go back if we have the chance. A true must if you like Greek, and make a reservation so you are not disappointed!

I felt like greek food so went here based on reviews. Had stuffed grape leaves to start (they serve them hot!) which was good. Then greek salad - dressing was very weak, but good portion.
Then had mixed grill which came with a pretty good amount of meat - small pieces of chicken, pork, hamburger beef and very very small lamb chop. All tasted good, but for 16 euros for the mixed grill might have expected more meat as it's not a fancy place
