This is a classy and conservative restaurant. I like the style and the food is Dutch friendly even if you can find international cuisine. If you have a business meeting or you wanna go out with some friends after CONCERTO TIME ( the place is just 1 min walking from Concert Hall ) this is the place you want to be. Good selection of wine and spirits and good food.

If you have tickets to the theatre and would like dinner first it is a nice place to go. They have a good service, friendly, spacious and it is only a few step from the theatre.

Situated near the modern art museum, (next to the Van Gogh museum which seems to have an extension sponsered by Ukosan Baths, this is a great little smart bar/restaurant where we were treated to some great Krokettes and beer for lunch

Good wine list but food unfortunately mediocre. Fine location, remarkable Interior: the German translation of a French Brasserie interior in Amsterdam. Food seems a bit prefab. Hares pepper (hazen peper) without any hare. After complaint, however well made but then the suffering already happened. Not recommended.

We were starving after spending the whole day in the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum. Not wanting to eat pretzels or hot dogs from a cart, we came across this restaurant by accident. I had considered it for dinner after reading reviews, but at the end of it all we chose others to visit on our trip.

It turns out that this was a great place to get a huge, fresh salad, a nice Crouque Monsieur (for me) and French onion soup and a grilled vegetable sandwich, pomme frites and a side salad (for my companion). It turns out that the Dutch aren't big vegetable eaters, so I recommend this place if you're the type who normally fills half or more of your plate with vegetables. We arrived about 2 PM and though it didn't seem like they were still serving lunch, they were.

I would definitely go back should i visit Amsterdam again.
