Great location cozy place very good ambiance good food but the staff is not the best. Very kind and gentle the girl at cashier bit the guy helping around is somehow rude and unpolite throwing dishes around and rising voice never smiling. All the nice place ruined by the service

My husband and I have been here recently, and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is one you'd get in Spain, i.e. warm, colourful, and cosy. The service is very efficient and fast. The food is tasty, quickly prepared, and not too heavy, which is sometimes the case with tapas. With a nice array of bites on the menu. Also you have the option of a house carafe of wine, which is quite good indeed, and saves the pocket!

We just happened to walk past and decided to have dinner here on the spur of the moment. The restaurant is really lovely, cosy atmosphere, lively decor and music, it has a very Mediterranean feel to it. We had tapas and sangria and they were gorgeous ~we were completely stuffed! I recommend the bread with goats cheese and honey, and the garlic mushrooms. And the tortilla. And the spinach with pine nuts and raisins (I'm a vegetarian, but I'm sure meat eaters would enjoy their own choices as much).

I thought the staff were very friendly, the service was quick and the prices were reasonable, so all in all a lovely experience. There were people with their friends and others with their families. It's not a fancy place, but still perfect for a chilled out dinner after a long day of being a busy tourist :)

We love Sal Gorda. We live nearby and enjoy the cozy neighborhood feel and the great food. Claudio, the manager, is super helpful and friendly. Our favorite dishes include the bruschetta, and the spinach with the pine nuts and our boys love the lamb and beef dishes and the fried cheese. I recommend it.
