“Great informative trip”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

Walked in here. Just asked where we came from and were given stickers to wear during the whole tour. A lady guide lead us to the second floor showing the polishing, cutting, other tools room with workers polishing, etc. Next we were led to a private office/room, she explained the four C's, cuts, colors, types. Brought out some samples in rings, earrings, necklaces and the like. The diamonds are marked on the corners which I mentioned. Lady let me examine it with a loop up close, but could not find it, and I kept on looking and looking. Lady said is was on the rim. Still no luck in finding it. Gassan has a cut that is registered and makes it sparkle beautifully.
Prices are a bit high, but I guess you pay for the registered cut and quality. Fancied an earring with white, black and cognac diamonds. Staff is multilingual, friendly and efficient.
One of our colleagues bought a ring, passport, forms had to be signed. Waited an hour to be sized. Sent downstairs to the showroom where we looked at items galore. Item came in an hour with paperwork for the VAT refund. Great, fruitful trip.

“Personal tour”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

We were lucky to go at the end of the day and have a tour guide for just the two of us. It was quite informative and interactive. At the end, we were taken into a room and shown loose diamonds. It was fun to guess the price given the variables of color, cut, clarity and carat. If you want to buy jewelry or learn more about diamonds, this is a great stop.

“Nice tour if you are interested in the making of diamonds”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

This was a fun tour to do in a group. They show you how to make diamonds - the amount of work that goes into it...they walk you through the 4C's which most people know about - like clarity and cut, color. At the end they have a showcase of the Gassan diamonds for you to purchase. Overall it was a nice tour but if time is of essence, I'd say skip this one adventure. Btw, it takes about half hour.

“Very Interesting and informative”

I really liked the tour, but if you're not interested in diamonds don't waste your time.
I doubt if men would really like this tour, unless your interested in buying a diamond for your loved one.
