We dined here twice - the second time directed here (!) by our child who enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere - as did we. It doesn't look much from the outside, but the food is well served and the restaurant is well frequented by Chinese-speakers, always a good guide.

The restaurant is located in a turistic district . The space looks old and dark, it doesn't appear clean. It's been told that the place is famous for Pekin Duck but the way it was prepared was unusual. The meat looked like a sponge, there was no soup . At the end of the meal, a free plate of fresh fruits is offered. Unfortunatly, it depends on the feeling of the single waitress who can decide you don't deserve this award . We got it but one couple didn't get it and was unhappy. The restaurant owner was there but the real manager is evidently the waitress. This is the best place to taste the worst and expansive asian food in a strange and not very clean atmosphere.

Packed with native chinese, and the a pretty good Peking duck (nowhere near the Beijing one I had the pleasure to taste).

Service is on better than Amsterdam standards (read, not very good), although very efficient, and it's a notch more expensive than the typical restaurant of the same type in town.

Whenever I'm back at Amsterdam (every 2 weeks) I always go back for the sweet-sour shrimps.

It's definitely authentic Chinese Dim Sum. There was a huge Chinese family sitting the back with a hundred plates on their table, so we decided to give it a try. It was just okay. I've had better Dim Sum stateside.

We had good dim sum and great fried rice! The service and the atmosphere are less than stellar.
