My husband and I and our neighbours stayed at CityCenter B&B for three nights prior to joining a river cruise from Amsterdam. The location was excellent - just a few minutes walk from the Centraal Station (with 8 suitcases!). The stairs to the rooms is a bit tricky, but well worth the struggle. The rooms were very nice - everything we needed and very clean and well-maintained. We were not provided with breakfast on site, but the breakfast vouchers we were given for the restaurant gave us a great breakfast/brunch each morning. Our hosts were fantastic. I was trying to find a monument that was erected after WWII that had my uncle's name enscribed. After a bit a research, they managed to find the location of that statue without any problems. We would stay here again when/if we ever return to Amsterdam!

Surprisingly spacious, nicely decorated and immaculate rooms in an extremely convenient central location. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, and the daily cleaning even tidied up belongings scattered about. While we had a little noise in our rooms from people outside on Saturday night, overall it was pretty quiet for a place in the heart of a major city (and I'm quite sensitive to noise). In 2 weeks of travel around Europe, this was definitely the best place we stayed.

What you might not like:

Stairs. Camillo did help bring our luggage up, but be advised that if you have problems climbing stairs, the rooms are up 2 flights, there's no elevator and the second flight is somewhat steep and windy.

Shared bathroom. We were traveling with friends so booked both rooms, but be advised you will be sharing with the other room.

The B&B is located in the city center and is very close to the Amsterdam Central Station. The room is beautifully decorated and everything is well-ready (e.g. drinks, map and travel info). The host, Camillo, is a very friendly person and gave us a lot of help during our stay. There is also a very big, well-designed bathroom for us to use (though share with other guests on the same floor). Every morning, we can also enjoy a great breakfast at a restaurant nearby. The B&B is perfect, only except the steep stairs (if you are carrying a big suitcase with you).

Room Tip: Book earlier, full very quickly!!

IN the best place in town, this nicely appointed room is clean, very comfortable and perfectly located. The stairs are not for elephants, but goats will have no problem. We walked everywhere and saw the entire city w/o loss of limb or mind. Would stay here if we return and the bed is ultra comfortable... look no further if u can get in, take it... it's a perfect fit for one of Europe's best cities... you aint's much of you ain't Dutch!

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in Amsterdam in October. Camillo is a very good host, very welcoming and generous with local information. The breakfast was excellent. The room we stayed in was well presented and kept. The only problem is the sharing of the bathroom with another guestroom. That said the bathroom, along with the rest of the house is very clean and well looked after. For location, and Camillo as a host, I would definitely stay here again when in Amsterdam.
Note: if you like a good latte, visit The Coffee Connection just round the corner. Great coffee, and Dave the owner/barista is an absolute champ.

Room Tip: Street-side room still very quiet at night.
