a lot of attractions. Next to the main station and entrance of the red light district you find this "silly thing" called dwaze zaken.
Young staff, good food, good prices, what else do you need before or after your visit to Amsterdam.

Went here whilst waiting to be picked up by our coach. Quick service. Plenty of outdoor seating. Apple pie was fantastic as were the brownies! Coffee was strong but nice. Iced coffee was lovely. Glad we visited.

Myself, my wife and two friends found this little restaurant by accident when leaving our hotel in the morning on the lookout for somewhere to have breakfast. The food was great, pancakes and a continental breakfast sampled, and the service was wonderful. We went back a second morning and were warmly greeted by the same waiter that we had the previous day, and who remembered us all. Basic décor but everything else is first class.

Great little cafe I sucked into after walking the old town of AMS on a cool and foggy afternoon. Had a nice grilled cauliflower soup with suckling pig bacon bits and a grilled haloumi cheese with mushrooms starter to keep me until a lets dinner. The soup was served with an amazing farmhouse bread and organic butter which complimented the rustic soup well. Perfect for a winter's day.

I also enjoyed a Gulpener winter ale which turned out to be the perfect choice for both dishes. Although the menu is not organic per se, they have tried very hard to incorporate organic products where possible and also utilize local suppliers.

Too many average or crap little restaurants near here so this simple cafe stands out nicely for quality of food and atmosphere. Try it.

Lovely little cafe, right near the Station. Good menu, very fresh tasting food and friendly staff. Love the homely feel to the place - bohemian and cosy. Perfect place for coffee or a light lunch. Great views for people watching!
