We had two wonderful and memorable dinners at Bussia, Reestraat 28 - 32, while we were in Amsterdam. Bussia had been recommended by friends living in San Francisco and also by many of our friends in Amsterdam. Bussia lived up to all of our expectations. We were initially greeted by the gracious and attentive owner, Natalie, who ensured that both of our dining experiences were as delightful as possible. Natalie has an amazing talent both as a host and sommelier and her husband’s skills in the kitchen are superb. The first night we chose the tasting menu, a five course dinner, each course accompanied by a masterful selection of wines. On the second evening that we dined there, we chose our favorite entrees along with wines that were again, expertly recommended by Natalie. Both times we felt welcomed, relaxed, and very well cared for. We plan to make a visit to Bussia a regular part of our trips to Amsterdam.
