“Looking for a great resto for Dim Sum?”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

I visited this resto 3 times since july 2012. It never fails me. I can say (and almost everyone i know say) this is the best place for you to eat dim sum in Amsterdam. Quite affordable for an exchange student like me.

“enjoyable experience”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

Came by this restaurant by accident and as a lot of chinese were entering and leaving we thought it might be a good place. Very busy restaurant and think we were lucky to get a seat as the top flour was off limits due to a private party.Service a little slow but as it was very cold outside we were not in a rush. Food was excellent and good value for money .While we were there others were turned away and as it was a Monday night we thought the place must have a very good reputation with locals. Worth a visit

“Chicken soup was perfect”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

As I have never been a fan of Chinese cuisine I would pass by this place by but my friend dragged me to Oriental City. By that time we had been wandering about the city looking for a place to have lunch around 4 pm when almost all high-class restaurants in Amsterdam were closed.
The restaurant is rather big located on several floors with many tables. I took chicken noodle soup that was very good. My friend tried the same and some rice.
We had 2 tea pots with jasmine tea to warm up ourselves in damp Amsterdam weather. Generally, everything was ok, no complaint on service or food.

“Great food in a central location”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

Eaten here a number of times over the years and the food is very good. Service can be a little slow but the restaurants is over the first and seconds floors of the building and if you are sat at one of the many window tables you get a great view over the busy street on one side and the pretty canal on the other. Pick a quieter time as the view makes the meal that little bit special

“saved me for a few hours”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

I stayed in the nearby Grand and when a different more upscale restaurant recommended by the concierge turned out to be closed around 4 pm, I wandered into this place. I had a cold and was feeling terribly. Ordered some jasmine tea, chicken soup and rice. The tea and soup revived me for a few hours and filled my struggling ferverish organism with nice warmth. The menu seemed typical for a chinese restaurant and I would not hesitate to return here for chinese food next time.
