“Kam Yin sounds like come in: Tasty.”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

Good food. Enough on plate. Paid about 20 euros for 3 people. Mine was chicken fried rice. Friendly Chinese staff. We had a good seat by window, so could people watch outside as well. Fairly busy. Went in the evening. Child friendly. In Red Light area. Close to China Town area. Would go again. Hundreds of eating places in this area.

“Nice food, great service”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

Kam Yin is a Chinese restaurant which is cheap and the food is great. The quantity of food is too much and the quality is good as well. The staff are friendly and efficient. This is busy from morning until evening. Try when you're in this area. Pretty busy especially at dinner time.

“Please don't!”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

If you like duck Peking soup with no flavour and no duck, with the texture of a snotty hot mess please go there. And please have the burned nasi on the side, which according to the staff supervisor belongs like that, for a true unpleasant experience. Not everything was that disgusting...is just I guess the wonton soup is made army style here.the green leaves in this broth had black dots on them. I guess you are not supposed to look at your food. And al. Thus fun costed 21 euro with the rude "compliments" of the staff supervisor. 21 euro min the duck Peking soup which I refused to pay with

“Tasty fast food”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

Kam Yin is a true gem. I'm not keen on Chinese take away fodder but this restaurant is great. It is always packed with locals and tourists and the food is fresh and tasty. Service is efficient and friendly. Firm favourites are the Surinamese roti and tjauw min (thick noodles with assorted meats). Its broodje pom (a chicken-casserole sandwich) is amazing. Satay dishes are also scrummy. Mains average at 5-9 Euros and a bottle of Coke is 2 Euros!

Location is super, right on the bustling Warmoesstraat.

“Open late”
Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

Was looking to eat traditional Dutch food, but everything was closed at 10:00 pm (2200). So, a local suggested this place. I don't like Chinese food, but this place hit the spot. We also stopped into the Take Out next door, but the fried cod fish fritter was nasty. I guess I was expecting it to be crispy and fresh like the ones back home in Miami, Florida USA where the Latin infusion has perfected the fritter.
