I love it and when you go there it like you are at beautiful wonderland. Owner is friendly and fun. Lots of interesting rock and items there that you need to learn. Am glad I went there and great experience for me and my Aunty. It's not far from Tram stops. I will recommend to anyone. :)

The hippy guy who owns this place loves luminous rocks and has devoted himself to them, traveling the world to collect them so he can show them to you. His enthusiasm for his hobby is humbling, and it's great to be invited into his world for 45 minutes while he shows you around.

This is a trippy little off-the-beaten-path adventure. Electric Ladyland is a tiny museum of flourescent art, occupying the room below the ground floor art gallery. The proprietor gives tours, pointing out and explaining each item in the museum, all of which he collected or made, himself. The tour takes about 45 minutes. The location is good, too; beautiful neighborhood and quaint shops are nearby. Beware - you must be able to climb down a ladder into the museum.

Hello,
Thanks for the nice review, but there IS NOT A LADDER to walk down to enter the Museum, just a steep stairway.
Thanks

New it was going to be different - and it was. Great experience and will remember this tour forever as the most unique - a passion for all things 'fluorescent' - over a span of years. Only in Amsterdam would you find this kind of quirky and fascinating knowledge in the world of glowing minerals . The host was eclectic and charming and certainly knew his stuff. We loved it!

the man who runs it is great, and clearly knows what he's talking about. It's such a cool place and we had a fun experience.
