This is a small, tiny hotel, right in the city center of Tilburg. It's exactly on the most popular street for cafeterias, so it can be extremely noisy at night...if you're a light sleeper, don't ever think about choosing it!
Rooms are small, seemed clean.
There's no much variety at the breakfast, they could have more types of cheese...we're in Holland finally! Some types of ham, 2 types of cheese...omlette,a dried up fried ham, cereals with milk, butter and different types of jems and nutella, fruit juices...
All in all, I would not choose it again, unless they had a great deal.

Room Tip: Beware of the rooms facing the main street, they are extremly noisy

We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a nearby music festival. The service was ok but we only really had dealings with staff at check-in. The room was good, very clean, spacious and modern. It was incredibly hot while we were there and our room did not have A/C whereas our other friends in the room next door did. We did have a large fan but it was so hot it did not make much difference. Our room looked out on the Church right next to the hotel and the bells going off every 15 mins kept waking me up on the first night. That and the heat meant I got very little sleep. The second night was much the same although I slept more, probably because I was so tired from the night before. The hotel's central location is good. It is only a 10 minute walk from Tilburg railway station, right beside the city square and at the end of a busy street of cafe's and bars. The cafe's, bars & restaurants were still very busy when we went to bed the second night but we did not hear any noise from them. Breakfast was included and this was continental. I probably would stay here again.

I stayed for one night, (Tuesday), on a business trip, and was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very centrally located, near to the main shopping district and facing the main square. The night I stopped the area was relatively subdued, but it I could easily imagine it becoming noisy at weekends as it corners a side road with cafe style bars and restaurants. However my evening was quiet and I had no trouble sleeping. There are a wide variety of shops and restaurants within very easy walking distance, and the hotel is an excellent base for your stay. My room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. The breakfast was purely continental, which is perhaps only an issue for UK travellers. However, there was a wide choice of food available. In common with all of the Netherlands, the people were warm and friendly and without exception spoke perfect English.

Room Tip: Ask for a back room at weekends or busy nights

We booked a room here very last minute and warning people Tilburg can be very popular! We got the last room on a Thursday night having rang other hotels in the area all of which were full! Our room was basic but fine with a great view of the square in front. The main issue is that while the hotel is very central it is in fact on the corner of a great bar street and so the party can be heard loud and clear until around 3 or 4am...fine if your ready to party you'll have a very short walk home...not so great if you actually want to sleep before the wee hours! We only stayed the one night so can't comment on the service as missed brekkie...

I was not quite happy with this hotel room, which was clean, spacious and sunny, but as several other reviewers have pointed out, the rooms facing the main square participate in all the night life therein, which goes on until the wee hours of the morning.

I personally slept anyway, and actually enjoyed spending a few minutes at the room's bay window which overlooked the square, watching the people go by after turning in. But light sleepers beware! Ask for a back room.

Breakfast was served in a spacious room and there was plenty of choice. Service was uniformly EXCELLENT, from the front desk to the late-night tea to the room cleaning. All contact was helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: Front rooms for great views over the square IF you sleep deeply! Back rooms for light sleepers.

A one night stay at this hotel was fine for me. Had a room at the back with twin beds which was quite large and fairly quiet. Some downsides - thin walls and a verandah outside my window that smokers used. The location was good for a cold winter's night: there's a pedestrian street full of restaurants just outside the door of the hotel to the left. And yes the cathedral clock does chime on the hour (I noticed it from 4am on) but it doesn't peal, and at least you know what time it is without having to turn on your phone! Breakfast was in a pleasant room and it was ample.

Room Tip: If you don't care about a view the rooms at the back are quiet and may be slightly larger than t...

The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the station on the town square near a great shopping area.
We received a warm welcome, and spent one night in a spacious room overlooking the town square. Although the actual lobby area is rather gloomy, the room and bathroom were modern, light, basic and very clean.
The hotel serves breakfast in a modern breakfast room, with a choice of typical Dutch cold meat and cheese, or scrambled eggs. We highly recommend this hotel for tourists/business travellers to Tilburg and families en-route through the Netherlands.

Room Tip: For light sleepers we advise you NOT to book a room overlooking the square, as the restaurants and p...
