“Lovely hotel at an excellent location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

We booked 4 rooms at this hotel for my wedding, it is short walk to the cityhall, close to some nice restaurants, shopping area and easy reach on foot to everywhere we wanted to see in the city. The room we booked at 3 rd floor is spacious, feels like 4stars quality, very clean and good ground for our wedding preparation. We love it and will definitely stay there again.

My room was average and smelled of smoke. It was towards the square and very noisy in the night. Other rooms towards the back should be better. Very beautiful restaurant but food rather ordinary. Central city location practical.

Friendly staff; clean and mainly comfortable; at a good price. The only problems I had were with lumpy pillows, and noise from the market square outside my window. Saying that, I was on the lowest floor, with a window facing the square. Improved glazing would fix that problem.

Room Tip: Don't get a room with a view over the square, unless you intend to use it on a summer evening. W...

Had the opportunity to stay at The Queen 9/17 and 9/18/2013. We were in the Royal Room, which was spacious, elegant, and very, very special. Owners Dimph and Perry, as well as the rest of their staff, were so warm and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom/shower perfect, and the view from the third story room was of the market below. The breakfast was also very satisfying and there were a variety of dishes from which to choose. We shared the hotel with a number of WWII veterans who were in town to help celebrate Eindhoven's 69th anniversary of being liberated from German occupation. Nothing but good things to say about The Queen!

Room Tip: Oops...there was no pool....not terrible! Everything was great.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. It is literally in the center of the Market. Within a 5 minute walk are easily 50 restaurants to choose from. It is a convenient 20 minute walk to the University. The rooms are modest, clean and comfortable. The staff is outsanding in their friendliness and helpfulness. I would highly recommend this hotel and would, without question, stay in this hotel again.

I've been to Eindhoven five or six times, for business reasons, and the last three times I've been staying in this small, nice, and centric hotel. It's located in the heart of the commercial district, and very close (less than 5 minutes walking) from the Central Station, where you can take the train, or any bus.

The rooms are clean, with free WiFi, and not noisy at all (well, last time there was a Champions League soccer match, and there was some noise, but this hardly happens...). The breakfast is continental, in the beautiful restaurant downstairs, where you can also have dinner (and beers!!!). The reception is located in the first floor, so you have to go upstairs from a lateral door, or enter through the restaurant (enter, and go left, and upstairs).

Very friendly reception staff in a boutique hotel on the main square. Excellent value rooms which are large and have comfortable, big beds. Recommended. The bar downstairs is a beautiful old dutch interior too.
