Pros:
- Very convenient location next to the train station
- Friendly staff
- Good breakfast
- Good quality, comfortable rooms

Cons:
- Overpriced, extremely slow internet access
- Some train noise in rooms at the back of the hotel

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel must be quieter

I am a fairly regular visitor here on Business Trips. The hotel is nice with quirky rooms (new block) and it's real plus is the staff.
However, as a Business User, I need fast reliable internet and this is where the Apollo fails. The quality of wifi varies room to room, but even the better ones slow to a snail's pace by mid to late evening. It appears to be getting worse over time and at 34Euro a week for internet connectivity I expect much better.

Room Tip: Useless internet. If you don't like trains, keep away from the back as the hotel is located next to a main rail route/station.

Before choosing this hotel I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and I have to say I have some different opinions in some areas to many people.
The location beside the train station is great when arriving by rail and with luggage. A 2 minute walk and you are checking in.
It is a short 6 -7 minute walk to the picturesque town center. Most of the walk is through a nice park.
The rooms were adequate although there was only 1 free TV channel in English, BBC 1. The beds were soft but very comfortable. It was also quiet, which is better than some of the more central hotels.
I noted many complaints about the breakfast. When you have fruit juices, cereal, bacon, eggs, cold cuts, assorted breads, tea and coffee In a self serve buffet setting I can't see what there is to complain about.

Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend break in this beautiful hotel in Breda city centre. The hotel has been converted from what was the old post office building with additional extensions added. The bedrooms are large and well fitted out, and the bathroom was very well fitted. Although right next to the railway station, due to the double glazing very little train noise was heard. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the city centre, the main bus and railway stations are adjacent, with connections to all areas.
The hotel has a fine dining and bar area serving good meals.

Room Tip: Rooms in the original post office building are roomier

Situated right in downtown Breda and right next to the Station, it is perfectly situated for the Business Traveller. Rooms were very quiet, large and had a well equipped bathroom (with bath!). Free Wifi only in Reception area - when will hotels realise that Free Wifi is begin to make people choose between hotels which offer it or not?

Popular bar area in the evening although service was very slow but charming!

Room Tip: For the trainspotters, request a room overlooking the station! They are very quiet despite proximity to the busy station.
