Description: In the magnificent Jekerdal valley, just on the Belgian border, is Chateau Neercanne. The beautiful Baroque gardens of the 17th century castle are divided over four levels, all of them UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The highest terrace offers a wonderful view over of the gardens and the magnificent valley. Chateau Neercanne has a rich cultural and culinary tradition. Treat yourself to dinner at the a la carte Restaurant Chateau Neercanne. Our attractive marl-built function rooms are ideal locations for parties, receptions and meetings. The unique wine cellars in the marl caves form an unparalleled setting for a wine-tasting session or for enjoying an aperitif.

We had a very nice evening. Started outside with a glass of bubbles: what a view!! After the amuse we went inside. The setting is very classic so you have to love it or not. The food and wines were very good: the 'kalfszwezerik' is to die for! The service is also very good. I definitely go back but this kind of restaurant I only visit once or twice a year because I think it is for a special occasion.

This restaurant is located in a beautiful 17th century chateau. Pre-dinner drinks can be enjoyed in the ancient wine cellars, which are really caves excavated from the chalk hills. The setting for dinner is rather formal, white linen and classical music. Don't take the kids unless they are very well behaved (and patient too). The quality of the food is brilliant and in my opinion this is one of the very best kitchens in The Netherlands. Creative, meticulous, tasteful. It is a real privilege to enjoy such obvious mastership.

This place has been around for a number of years. Over the years I've had lunch, dinner or even parties (in their caves) there and what surprises me is that their standard in food as well as service is so consistently high over the years, having enjoyed dinner their with friends last weekend.
Still a wonderfull place to visit, especially at day-time when you can enjoy the magnificient view from their terrace. But even at night it's perfect; have your pre-dinner drinks in their caves.
Enjoy!

Dining in a real Castle is always good and even perfect if the food is of the highest level and the personnel is really skilled and ready to serve you. You will for sure have a wonderful evening which you will remember forever.

We went for lunch on a sunny day and sat on the terrace surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside and the castle. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We went a la carte, but their jubilee menu looked delicious too. We received two amuse bouches which was a nice surprise. We did not go for pudding but did receive a delicious complimentary passion fruit and white chocolate dessert from the kitchen. There is no rushing at Neercanne which is rare these days and which was truly enjoyable.
