“Cute garden, but pretty small”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

Small nice little garden. Nice flowers and atmosphere was peaceful. Nothing amazing, but it was a nice little stop while bicycling through the city.

“Beautiful Traditional Garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

A wonderful free way to spend time outside in Groningen. Quick walk or bike ride from the city, gorgeous roses, arbor covered paths, nice huge currant bushes, and famous sundial. Nice place to stroll and relax.

“Tranquil oasis”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

The Prinsenhof Gardens (in Dutch: Prinsentuin) offers an oasis of quiet in an otherwise bustling city. It's a lovely place to take a break from sightseeing. Stroll along the gravel paths, take in some sun on one of the benches, and admire the rose bushes. During summer, sometimes a local tea shop will serve tea and cakes.

“Smell the roses”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

We visited on a hot day but the smell of roses was thick in the air and the gardens a very pleasant rest from a long walk around the city

“Peaceful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Lovely small gardens in the north east corner of the old town. Quiet and peaceful and a great place to get away for the bustle of the town centre.
