“Very very nice place”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We had walked for a mile of 8 in Groningen so we wanted to have a good diner. I had made a reservation. We arrived an hour earlier then the reservation was made. It was no problem and we got a table. We have eaten of the limitless tapas. The Sangria was very good and the Erdinger (Beer) was also appreciated by my husband. The food was more then good. The portions were enough for us. After four rounds we had enough. We went for a walk to the hotel in the nice city Groningen.

“Good food, quite some choice of tapas but a bit expensive for a tapas bar”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Cosy restaurant in the Vismarkt (the entrance is actually not in the Vismarkt but behind it), nice atmosphere. Quite some choice of tapas, maybe not so much choice for vegetarians. The waiters suggest to order at least 4 tapas each person which is ok but if you are really hungry you need to take 5-6.
We spent 25 euros each for 4 tapas each + 2 beers each + water which is in the average with dutch prices but a bit exaggerated. If you get enthusiastic and start to order more tapas, you will end up paying a huge bill, though.

“Not authentic Spanish food”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

I have travelled through Spain quite a bit and, therefore, was really looking forward to taste the "best tapas in town". Unfortunately this is absolutely not the case at Tapasco! :-( The quality of the food is just not good. Too many things are deep-fried and/or over-priced.

“Hidden treasure”
Reviewed May 4, 2013 via mobile

For those being able to find it. In the city center of Groningen. Close to the vismarkt you should visit this nicely decorated Tapas restaurant. Over 50 Tapas dishes, Nice wines by the glass and friendly (young) staff. Had oysters, beautiful hams, Duck liver amongst other great dishes. A place to be and to visit.

“Great place, great food and great service”
Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

Visited on a Tuesday night, although not particularly busy there was still a "gezellig" atmosphere. The food was excellent, approx 50 tapas to choose from, the food is prepared fresh and delivered at a relaxed pace just as it should be. Service was friendly, helpful and just enough attention to make sure you enjoyed your evening. The interior is simple but has a nice contrast, the bar area with tables is more dark wood and and then there is a second room with beautiful ceiling, chandeliers and wall tiles featuring Spanish street names. Overall, good value for the money and worth a visit.
