Definitely one of the best sunsets I've witnessed up on the vantage point of the cliff, with the visual splendour of the burning sun going down on the horizon with the dragon (or the ?worm) appearing to swim across to it. It was a nice experience to sit outside the busy pub sipping a pint and being amazed at thee views. I got to see only a very small part of the wreck of Helvetia but would definitely want to visit again to go down to the beach and to walk across to the "worm's head".

What a lovely place. It is also very popular and the car park is obviosly getting bigger and bigger. We walked all over the place just enjoying the views , the sun and the breezes.
It's a must see place

Outstanding beauty all around the area- take a camera and click away. Great for families young and old. Take some comfortable shoes. Take a picnic or eat at local cafe. Take plenty of fluids. Plenty of walking and plenty to see. You can spend a good 2-6 hours here - so must beauty to see. Also at the same time you can see and walk down to Rhossili beach, which is beautiful . Also if you time it right you can walk across the stones and walk right up to and stand on top worms head itself. Make sure you give plenty of time or the ride will come and you will stuck there until the morning. Enjoy :)

This is definitely worth a visit. The scenery is spectacular. You have a short window of approximately 2 1/2 hours depending on tides, to get across to Worms Head and back. I would say the terrain can be difficult in parts as you are crossing the Causeway, and there are lots of pools, rocks, mussel beds and seaweed to work your way through!! That said, I would do it all again - it was brilliant. There is a natural blow hole which you can see from the first cliff on Worms Head, if you don't want to head right to the end. The best thing to do, is to time yourself across and then add approx. another half an hour back, as you may be more tired than going. The tides come in quickly and the timings are very accurate. Sensible walking boots are beneficial but not essential - it just makes the terrain easier to cross.
