I must not rate this accommodation too highly if I do everyone will want to go and I might lose out in the future.
Seriously it's one of nicest places I have stayed in a long while. Clean comfortable warm. Good location.
In fact it rained most of the time I was there. But that's the way to see it for what it is. Even in the Rain they accommodation is first class.
Can't recommend it enough.
John is clearly a Gentleman and hopefully I'll get to share a drink with him sometime.
We recently stayed in the chalet for 3 nights, it was very well equipped, comfortable and clean!
The site was great, swimming pool, playground, pub & chippy! The shop was very expensive I would suggest buying food in the City!
Really enjoyed our stay...will go again!
Spotless bungalow, on a lovely site. The accommodation was larger than we expected and extremely well equipped. Beds were comfy and we all slept well!
You need a car to get around (we knew this) and place is well located for all of the lovely Gower hotspots.
We had good weather and so spent a lot of time in Port Eynon and on Horton beach.
When we were back at the bungalow, there were camping chairs to sit out in the grassed area at the back.
Kids were entertained by games and dvds supplied.
Would definitely recommend.
Perfectly located to explore the Gower, a warm welcome at the adjacent pub/restaurant which serves a good pint and good food. At the chalet itself, there is nothing that hasn't been thought of, very well equipped and comfortable, the free Wi-Fi at the chalet is also a great bonus. Would definitely recommend.
Very comfortable property and equipped like your own home.good central location from which to explore the gower.on site facilities were great to keep our two year old entertained.only thing missing was a sea view.would go again
Upon arrival we immediately felt at home in this lovely, comfortable holiday home in the Gower Holiday Village in Scurlage. The house was quite a bit larger than we had expected and furnished rather tastefully. The well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bathroom added a lot to us feeling right at home here. Before we got there the owner had already provided us with all information on how to check in, so we wouldn't be in a hurry to meet a set check-in time on our way to Wales from Dorset.
We had planned to use this house as a base for exploring the Gower and going on daytrips every day, but we all liked it there so much that we also spent a couple of days just staying in the village and go swimming in the on-site pool or play games at the dining table and games of pool at the Monksland, the adjacent pub.
On the days that we did set out on trips we often would find ourselves on one of the Gower's beautiful beaches. In a cupboard in the hallway we found that the owner had left a whole bunch of beach attributes (body boards, beach windscreen, buckets and spades... all the things we had forgotten to bring along) which the kids appreciatively had lots of fun with.
The holiday village is not like those big Butlins style parks, there is no evening entertainment or day programmes, so it is perfect for families who just want to spend a great holiday comfortably in a beautiful part of Wales while still having everything you need, shop, pool, pub right around the corner.
