We ate dinner while staying in Bessans.
The place is nice and the service was friendly - with no English menu they had to translate and explain and did it with a lot of patience.
They serve dishes of the local regional cuisine which uses a lot of cheese and pork fat (lardon) with very dominant flavor. The food is tasty but heavy and the portion are huge, so either come with a very big appetite or share a dish.
