If anyone ever travels the M4 East to West please turn off at Foelgastell! This is a total must! The food is fantastic, but the welcome is as great. They are a great family and very accommodating. Anything you want you can have and the atmosphere is lovely. Lots of Welsh singing. You must go there. Deb & Kev

Been coming here for many years and to give it credit, things have improved. Food is certainly better but the pub is so tired and grotty looking!

Went with a group of neighbours - unfortunately our coach was VERY late, and I phoned the restaurant to tell them and they said there would not be a problem. When we arrived, everything was ready for us - the first course was very well received, and the mains were delicious and plentiful. When the dessert was served, there were gasps as the food on the plates (va\rious choices) looked as though they had been set out by an artist - perfection was the word used..
The staff were very friendly, there was no waiting between courses, and the meal was enjoyed by us all.

Friendy staff, althou there was 24 of us in the party on a Saturday night and had booked the food in advance, some of us had to wait a long time, some had already finished their food when some was getting theirs. Would go back since i was there before and had the 3 course special, they have there Mon. to Thurs.and is well worth it at £9.95. ,.

Haven't been here for a while but called in on the chance of a lunch time meal. Surprised that no one else was there (although people did come in after us but only in the bar). Hubby had steak and ale pie with all the trimmings and I had liver, bacon and onions again with veg. Food was well cooked and well presented and was reasonably priced. Staff are very pleasant.

Went to the loo and could see that some work has been undertaken to modernise but I think this is still work in progress. Points taken off for health and safety though as the fire exit in the restaurant was blocked - extra seating and high chair were being stored here.
