Haven't been here for a while but called in on the chance of a lunch time meal. Surprised that no one else was there (although people did come in after us but only in the bar). Hubby had steak and ale pie with all the trimmings and I had liver, bacon and onions again with veg. Food was well cooked and well presented and was reasonably priced. Staff are very pleasant.
Went to the loo and could see that some work has been undertaken to modernise but I think this is still work in progress. Points taken off for health and safety though as the fire exit in the restaurant was blocked - extra seating and high chair were being stored here.
